Profile

I design interiors that get built the way they were drawn. Fourteen years in, most of my work is apartments in Beirut and a handful of cafés and shops — jobs where the budget is real, the walls are old, and the details have to be resolved before anyone orders anything.

I draw the full set myself: plans, elevations, joinery, lighting. Then I tender it, sit with the carpenter, and keep going to site until the snag list is empty.

Selected work

Eight projects, 2022 — 2025

Home

Rue Gouraud flat

Gemmayze · 2025 · Full renovation · 185 m²

A 1930s flat with the good bones hidden under four later layers. We took it back to the cement tiles and the triple arch, then built everything new around them.

  • Original cement tile
  • Pale oak
  • Lime plaster

Hospitality

Sabah coffee

Mar Mikhael · 2025 · Café fit-out · 60 m²

Sixty square metres that had to seat fourteen, serve a queue, and still read as calm from the street. The counter does most of the work.

  • Terrazzo
  • Birch ply
  • Brushed brass

Hospitality

Zaytoun

Hamra · 2025 · Dining room · 110 covers

A long, low room with no daylight at the back. Arched niches and wall-washing light give it a far wall worth looking at.

  • Tinted plaster
  • Green velvet
  • Antique brass

Retail

Tarz boutique

Achrafieh · 2024 · Retail interior · 70 m²

The stock changes every six weeks, so nothing is fixed: plinths move, rails move, and the lighting was planned for a room that gets rearranged.

  • Travertine
  • Brushed steel
  • Microcement

Workplace

Nour & Co. office

Badaro · 2024 · Workplace · Twelve desks

One room, twelve people, and a client who wanted no partitions. Acoustics came first and the plan followed them.

  • Oak
  • Black steel
  • Felt panel

Home

Ramlet el Baida duplex

Beirut · 2023 · Bedrooms and baths · 140 m²

Four bedrooms on a west façade that takes the full afternoon sun. Everything here is about keeping the light without the heat.

  • Walnut
  • Linen
  • Honed marble

Home

Saifi Village kitchen

Beirut · 2023 · Kitchen and dining · 28 m²

A galley kitchen that two people cook in at once. Every drawer was drawn around what goes in it.

  • Lacquered joinery
  • White marble
  • Unlacquered brass

Home

Beit Chabab house

Mount Lebanon · 2022 · Restoration · 240 m²

A stone house that had stood empty for twenty years. The sandstone and the arches were restored; the furniture is deliberately of this century.

  • Local sandstone
  • Oak beam
  • Hand-glazed tile
